Usage

This template may be used in two different ways, either directly referencing the width and depth of the river or denoting it in terms of minimum, average and max via min, max and avg parameters respectively. See the attached examples, derived from the English Wikipedia infobox for the Amazon River.

Please note that these examples serve only to illustrate the usage of the template and the information they convey may not be entirely accurate.

Template data

Allows you to describe a river. The following fields are available to specify. All of them are optional; editors are encouraged to fill them in as per their discretion.
