The underworld, sometimes known as hell, is a recognized magical phenomenon and plane of existence in Offetstine which many archetypically infernal species, such as demons, hail from. While the precise details of the topology of the underworld remain largely unknown to humans living in the world of Offetstine, it is typically recognized as highly inhospitable, anarchic and dystopian.
The underworld is rife with magic and broadly unaffected by the Masquerade, unlike Earth, as it is populated primarily by demi-humans and spiritual beings.
