Constance Vivas

From Offetstine Wiki
(Redirected from Constance Émile)

Constance Vivas, also known by her pseudonym Costanza Émile, is an illustrator, writer and species taxonomist living in Offetstine. Under her identity as Vivas, she primarily works freelance and has previously created a number of artworks for primarily local clients. Per her own account, her artistic endeavors have proved largely unsuccessful, but she perseveres as it is where her talent lies.

As Émile, however, she is reputed in the demi-human research scene as the creator of the Émile system, a taxonomical scheme for demi-human species primarily spread through underground networks, aiming to document the practical effects of magic on a human's body or mind, or in realizing humanlike entities. She identifies herself as a half-siren to protect her identity, and her research is aided by a magical artifact, a ring with a small sapphire center stone, which allows her to detect and identify the nature of demi-humans.

Real life

Vivas was previously known as "Constance Émile", while her character was written by Eunakria. As tenure of and rights to her character were bestowed upon Tato, her name was changed to "Constance Vivas", and "Costanza Émile" was set as her pseudonym.
